TROPOS presented at the OCEANS’13 MTS/IEEE in Bergen

The prestigious OCEANS Conference, jointly sponsored by the Marine Technology Society (MTS) and the Oceanic Engineering Society of the institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE/OES), is a major international forum for scientists, engineers and responsible ocean users to promote, disseminate and exchange their knowledge, ideas, applications and scientific-technical advances in Oceanic Engineering and Marine Technology. The conference was held in Bergen from 10th to 13th June 2013.

Mr. Eduardo Quevedo from PLOCAN (Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands), and TROPOS Project Manager, presented the TROPOS Project and its current progress. The presentation was focused on the characterization of the platforms to be designed, which includes three use cases focused on  the industrial component of the project (Sustainable Production Concept), in the exploitation of the aquaculture (Green&Blue Concept) and a sustainable and innovative leisure approach (Leisure Island).
